It's really very simple. You get billed the subscription fee each month. In return you benefit from better pricing and increased rendering capacity availability. Note that even though you pay a monthly subscription fee, you still pay for each minute a server renders for you.
Does a subscription fee count as credits?
No. The subscription fee is used to provide better pricing and access to more servers. You'll need to add money to your account separately to use it as rendering credits.
Is there a minimum commitment for subscriptions?
No. The subscriptions run month to month. You get the reduced price as long as your subscription is active. You can subscribe for just a month and change to the free plan after you are done rendering.
How does billing by the minute work?
The price you see in the table above is the price per server hour. But you only pay for the fraction of the hour your render actually took. For example, if your render takes 6 minute, you'll only pay 1/10 of the price displayed (from 30 to 45 cents depending on the subscription level)
Are the estimates binding?
No. It's not possible to estimate very accurately how long a project will take to render. Therefore we cannot guarantee the render price will be the same as the estimation. Please render a few frames from your project using the signup bonus, then extrapolate the actual price based on the actual render cost you get.
Need more than 100 concurent servers?
It's definitely doable. Please contact us to discuss.
